[I am a Romanian born artist](https://altafineartstudio.com) with a BA in Fine Arts (2000). That degree was followed by a series of exhibitions, awards, and more certifications in various domains, from music performance, theory and [composition](https://altamihartescu.bandcamp.com/) to business leadership and communication from all over the world from Harvard to Berklee. I began to call Canada ‘home’ in 2008. I moved here to become a citizen of the world and immerse myself intellectually into the local vibrant cultural diversity. I am particularly active in art, design, music composition, and creative leadership. Currently, I serve as the [head of the Design Thinking Solutions](https://ca.linkedin.com/in/altamihartescu) group within TD Bank in Toronto, leading a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team of award-winning talent. Over the years, I became more interested in mentorship, coaching, and developing people. I finally reached a moment where I can dedicate sufficient time to deep study and research and become a better contributor to the community. I have secret hopes that I could be accepted into a PhD program eventually. So, I thought the ideal starting point would be a master’s degree in a form that gives more depth and more insights into my existing life experiences.
