In abstract art, meaning is anything but linear. In contemporary classical music as well. The construct doesn't follow a representational form, nothing is recognizable. The focus is on triggering emotions. The fact that we are familiar with a recognizable object is collapsing its potential and it cannot trigger pure subconscious reactions anymore. The intention is to leave the meaning open-ended and deeply subjective.
There is a fundamental connection between [[Abstract Art]] and [[Interdisciplinary Thinking]]. They both share complexity, go beyond established frameworks, and their approach is non-linear, promoting openness, embracing ambiguity to discover novel perspectives.
