This aligns very well with the idea that in art perfect things will never catch attention. Only imperfection will attract our attention. It is also related to the evolutionary aspect, things that are stable and known don't represent a danger, so the attention will be reserved for the unknown which typically requires [[problem-solving]] skills. Who doesn't possess them will rely on others.
